The Ocean City Council of Realtors raised over $ 2,000 for the Ocean City Historical Museum through a virtual Bubble Mania event.

Due to the cancellation of the Ocean City Air Festival at Ocean City Municipal Airport, the Bubble Mania event was turned into a virtual fundraiser in September, according to a press release.

On December 1, real estate agents presented a check for $ 2,040 to the members of the museum’s board of directors.

Members of the Board of Realtors’ Bubble Mania committee sold “bubbles” on a marketing banner to raise funds for the museum.

Real estate brokers and agents each paid to sponsor a bubble to advertise the event.

The vision of the Ocean City Historical Museum is to be an inviting, informative and innovative community resource that is recognized and respected as the place to explore and celebrate Ocean City’s rich history and heritage.
