Knife Sharpening Event at Arlington Heights Historical Museum

[ad_1]

Did you discover any dull knives a few weeks ago while making your holiday dinner? Don’t let that happen for your next vacation! Gather these knives, scissors, and tools and take them to a Sharpening by Dave event at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum on the second Sunday of each month from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The next sharpening event will take place this Sunday December 12th. You can find Sharpening by Dave’s van parked on the museum grounds at 110 W. Fremont, Arlington Heights. No reservation is necessary.

Dave is an experienced knife sharpener who travels through Chicagoland to offer on-site and off-site sharpening, as well as specialist sharpening and expert tips and tricks.

Sharpening by Dave will sharpen knives, cleavers, scissors (including pinking scissors and hair scissors), and more. The items are sharpened inside a mobile van practicing social distancing. To view a full list of services, visit sharpeningbydave.com. All service questions should be directed to Dave at daveissharp@aol.com or (847) 354-2547.

For every item sharpened, Dave donates $ 1 to the Arlington Heights Historical Society. The Historical Society is a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization whose mission is to collect, preserve and present the history of Arlington Heights. Profits from sharpening are used to fulfill this mission. The Historical Society is a member-funded, voluntary organization and a partner of the Arlington Heights Historical Museum.
