The Festival of Trees returns to the San Joaquin County Historical Museum. How can you assist

Over 60 unique and beautifully decorated Christmas trees will be on display during the annual Tree Festival at the San Joaquin County Historical Museum.
The annual festival returns for its 29th edition in the last 30 years, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. from December 4 to 5 with a preview day for seniors from 1 to 4 p.m. on December 3.
In addition to the 60 decorated trees, San Joaquin County’s Christmas tradition includes children’s activities and take-out crafts, Santa tours, tractor cart rides, historical exhibits, and shows. Food will be available for purchase.
Admission is $ 15 for adults, $ 5 for children 2 to 12, and children under 2 are free. Tickets purchased in advance include free parking at Micke Grove Park.
Fans of Stockton founder Captain Charles Weber will have the opportunity to view the interior of his chalet during the event.
The Weber Cottage, originally built in 1848 on the Stockton waterfront, is now on the campus of the San Joaquin Historical Museum. During the festival, docents in period, in festive attire, will welcome visitors and answer questions about Weber.

The Festival of Trees is a project of the Council of Museum Guides, museum volunteers who support the museum’s educational programs, visitor services, maintenance and fundraising. Net proceeds from the Festival of Trees go to the museum’s educational programs such as Valley Days, Pioneer School, Grandmother’s Trunk and Farm to Fork.
