Help raise the roof of the Historical Museum

Raise the Roof Fitness Fair arrives Saturday at the Geary County Historical Museum. This event will help raise funds for a much needed new roof at the Museum.

The first class starts at 10am with Yoga and a different class will take place every hour. Classes are offered by Sierra Fox and Wild Sukha, The Upper Deck, Elite Academy of Martial Arts, KO Boxing, Ballroom Dance School Manhattan, JC GymTastics, Clarabel’s and Brianna Downey.

There will be a raffle every hour with prizes from: Magnolia’s, Rolling Meadows Golf Course, JC GymTastics, Ballroom Dance School MHK and Nutrition Fort! Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Jammin’ Jamaican, We’re So Icey, Nutrition Fort and By Yurii’s Kitchen. Witt’s will also be on hand with a nursery stand.

Entrance wristbands are $15 in advance / $20 at the door for adults and $8 in advance / $10 at the door for children. All proceeds will go to the Historical Society.

The event is sponsored by Jim Clark Chevrolet, DEL Motors, Subway and Mowry Custer DBA Coldwell Banker Patriot Realty.

The Historical Society has been named the recipient of a 2022 Heritage Trust Fund grant. This grant, along with local fundraising, will pay for the replacement of the museum building’s 35-year-old roof.
