TPT office in Dhaka: As part of the 5th Bangladesh-India Cultural Encounter and Gathering, from India, prominent personalities including political, social and cultural activists and media personalities including Tripura Minister Ram Prasad Pal visited Puthia Rajbari, Natore Rajbari and Uttara Gana Bhavan in the Rajshahi region.

On Sunday February 27, AHM Khairuzzaman Liton, organizer of the preparatory committee of the cultural meeting, member of the presidium of the Awami League of Bangladesh and mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation visited various establishments with them.

On the occasion of the centenary of bangabandhu, the Golden Jubilee of Independence and the 50th Anniversary of Bangladeshi-Indian Relations, a cultural gathering is being held in Rajshahi from February 25 to 26 under the auspices of Friends of Bangladesh under the auspices of Rajshahi City Corporation. In this framework, Indian guests visited Puthia Rajbari on Sunday and Natore Rajbari and Uttara Ganobhaban in the afternoon.

At noon, the guests of Puthia Rajbari were warmly welcomed. Later in the afternoon, RCC Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton and Minister of State for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak MP along with other leaders welcomed the Indian guests to Natore Rajbari and Uttara Ganobhaban.

During the tour, the Indian guests were introduced to the history and heritage of the historic sites. Indian guests took part in worship at the historic Shiva Temple in Puthia Rajbari and the Sarvamangala Temple in Natore Rajbari.

During the visit, Natore-4 MP and District Awami League President Abdul Quddus, Natore-2 MP Shafiqul Islam Shimul, Acting Metropolitan League President Rajshahi Awami Bir Muktijoddha Mohammad Ali Kamal, Awami League Secretary General of Rajshahi District Abdul Wadud Dara, Secretary General of the Juba League Mahila Apu Ukil and other prominent figures and personalities of Awami League and allied organizations.

We can mention that a team of 36 members including the Minister of India went to Rajshahi on February 25 to participate in the 5th Bangladesh-India cultural meeting.

They will return to India after the February 28 reunion.
