MP to hold yoga events at 75 historic locations on June 21

Bhopal, June 17 (SocialNews.XYZ) Madhya Pradesh government will hold yoga events in 75 historic places across the state on June 21 to mark International Yoga Day.

Along with the 75 historic locations, yoga sessions will be held in all of the state’s 52 districts.


On Friday, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave an update on preparations during a meeting with officials.

Chouhan, who will attend a yoga event at Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal on June 21, said, “All state ministers should participate in the programs, as well as youth and social organizations.”

The Chief Minister also inquired about the preparations from collectors from Gwalior, Raisen, Chhatarpur and Anuppur districts who practically attended Friday’s meeting.

He also led the officials for wide publicity of the programs.

According to officials who attended the meeting, arrangements would be made to broadcast the message of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Chouhan to all venues in the state.

According to the step-by-step program issued by the Center, all participants must be present from 6:00 a.m.

Chouhan’s message will be broadcast at 6:30 a.m., followed by that of the Prime Minister.

Yoga sessions will start at 7:00 a.m.
