Taking to Instagram, the “Malaal-e-Yaar” actress shared her photos as well as posts appreciating the beauty of Lahore.
The ‘Dunk’ actress wrote: “On my recent trip to Pakistan’s food capital, Lahore, I made it a point to visit historic places. Although I have been to Lahore several times, this time it was supposed to be different.
“Here you can see me posing in The Walled City. It includes the lavishly decorated Wazir Khan Mosque, the huge Badshahi Mosque and the Shahi Hammam.
“It rose to prominence after being chosen as the Mughal capital. It is now a Unesco World Heritage Site!
She ended her post by asking her fans and followers, “How many of you have been here?”
Lahore is a major tourist destination in Pakistan. The walled city of Lahore was renovated in 2014. Lahore Fort is the city’s most popular site and has been a Unesco World Heritage Site since 1981.
Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan also tweeted about the historic place and said: “Lahore Fort has been restored and preserved for our future generations. My government ultimately intends to preserve and restore all of our historic sites. “
