What are the odds of your luck prevailing at this year’s “Casino Night,” presented by the DuPage County Historical Museum Foundation?

Take your chance and find out on March 11 when this annual Las Vegas-style fundraising event is held for the first time at Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton.

There will be blackjack and craps tables, roulette, Texas Hold’em poker games, a money wheel and a raffle.

A variety of donated items will be available for competitive bidding in a silent auction.

And guests can also enjoy an open bar and a selection of appetizers.

This “game” night is a benefit to the DuPage County Historical Museum, a community treasure operated by the District of Wheaton Park that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.

Each ticket holder will receive $50 in charity tokens that can be redeemed for donated raffle tickets at the end of the evening.

“Casino Night” marks its return after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.

“Our fans look forward to our Casino Night fundraiser each year,” said David Thiel, president of the DuPage County Historical Museum Foundation. “The mood is always festive and fun. This year we will be in a stylish new setting at Arrowhead Golf Club to accommodate more guests. The evening promises to be a winning one for our guests and for the DuPage County Historical Museum. .”

“Casino Night is a great event for the community to have fun while raising funds for the museum to continue to provide stewardship, education and community engagement,” said museum director Michelle Podkowa.

The museum offers temporary and permanent exhibitions and special social and educational events throughout the year.

More than 40,000 artifacts from the county’s history are housed at the museum, where visitors enjoy free admission.

Tickets are $125 per person or $1,000 for groups of 10 people. Sponsor signage is available for groups of 10 paying a group rate of $1,200.

Each admission ticket includes $50 in charity tokens per person, appetizers, drinks, a raffle and a silent auction.
