The National Tourism Agency applies disinfection measures in historic places [PHOTO]

From March 5 to 7, medical and disinfection measures against the coronavirus epidemic (COVID-19) took place in the reserve and educational establishments under the National Tourism Agency.

In accordance with the decision of the operational headquarters of the Cabinet of Ministers on disinfection measures in all educational institutions, actions were organized for this purpose in educational buildings and courses of the University of Tourism and Management of Azerbaijan, Baku Vocational School of Tourism and Mingachevir College of Tourism.

At the same time, disinfection measures were carried out inside the walls of the Narin Gala of the Shaki Upper Head State Historic and Architectural Reserve, as well as other facilities.

In addition, the administrative buildings of the reserve, the Shaki Khan Palace and its courtyard, the Round Temple, the Shaki Khans House Museum, the Shaki History and Ethnography Museum, the Shaki Khan Art Gallery, Shaki State, the “House of Craftsmen” building and other facilities were also disinfected.

Disinfection measures have also taken place in the facilities of the “Kish” history and architecture reserve.

The facilities that were disinfected have already been reopened in service since March 8.

These preventive measures are also planned in other reserves under the National Tourism Agency during the period between March and April.
